Catherine DeDecker, PS has dedicated more than four decades to Spalding DeDecker, building a diverse career across multiple roles within the organization. Her experience includes positions as a Survey Field Technician, Survey CAD Technician, Survey Project Manager, Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Sr. Vice President, and currently, Business Development and Marketing Manager.
Reflecting on her time at SD, Catherine shares, “We have a really great team at Spalding DeDecker, which makes coming to work very enjoyable. I’ve had the opportunity to grow through a variety of roles over the years, and I’ve truly enjoyed each one for different reasons. Every position has brought new challenges, new perspectives, and the chance to work with different people across the company, which has made my career here both rewarding and fun.”
Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying from Michigan Technological University and holds two Associate Degrees from Macomb Community College. She is a licensed Professional Surveyor in Michigan and Ohio, as well as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida. She also holds Michigan DNR Boating Safety and Hunter Safety Instructor certifications.
Outside of her professional work, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family, serving on organizational boards, volunteering in her community, participating in golf and shooting sports, and capturing moments through photography.
