Dan Troia, PE, has over 35 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management, including 22 years at the Ingham County Road Department and earlier roles with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). His background in geotechnical and highway engineering, combined with extensive knowledge of MDOT and AASHTO standards, has guided the successful delivery of numerous roadway, bridge, and infrastructure improvement projects across Michigan. Dan has led projects through every phase; from planning and design to environmental permitting and construction administration; consistently emphasizing technical excellence and collaboration. Dan currently serves as County Highway Engineer in Clinton and Ingham Counties.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan, he holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys watersports, golf, and attending B1G athletics events (Wisconsin and U of M, where my daughters perform in the Michigan Marching Band).
