Erum Imam, PE, is an Assistant Project Manager with more than 17 years of experience in traffic engineering and roadway design, including over 12 years with Spalding DeDecker Associates, Inc. She specializes in the design and development of maintenance of traffic plans, transportation management plans, signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic staging for freeway and non-freeway projects. Ms. Imam is highly experienced with MDOT and AASHTO standards and routinely leads traffic design efforts for state, county, and municipal transportation projects.Ms. Imam has served as Lead Traffic Engineer on numerous resurfacing, rehabilitation, and reconstruction projects throughout Michigan and currently provides QA/QC maintenance-of-traffic oversight for the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project. She is proficient in MicroStation, SignCAD, Synchro, and Highway Capacity Software, and has completed extensive MDOT training related to work zones, signing, and plan development. Ms. Imam holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan.
