Cassi is a certified urban planner and project manager with expertise in community, economic, and real estate development. Cassi has nine years of unique experience in Michigan, primarily in the City of Detroit, in both the public and private sectors. Her knowledge of zoning and policy, master and neighborhood planning, site selection and planning due diligence, entitlements and approvals, and community engagement guides projects through completion.
Meitl earned her Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning with a graduate certificate in community engagement at Michigan State University and her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Minor in Business Administration at Illinois State University.
When not working, Cassi is spending family-time with her husband, daughter, and their cat. She also enjoys traveling, road cycling, baking, beer brewing, restoring her 105-year-old house, and being a T-rex for Halloween.
