Mr. Fortunato is responsible for the project management, oversight of field staff, and contract administration of local and MDOT funded projects for SDA. He has been involved in many different areas of the construction phase including project management, contract administration, survey, material testing, and project inspection throughout his career. His involvement in all of these areas provides him with a solid understanding of field and office operations. We believe that John’s construction experience, along with his communication skills and his knowledge of local ordinances and specifications, AASHTO, FHWA, and MDOT standards, practices, and current procedures provides a value-added resource to our team and our clients.
His hobbies are family time, golf, football and music. He played the drums professionally in his younger years and dabbles on guitar and piano. John and wife Deb enjoy spending time with sons Cory and Logan and daughters Madison and Enamarie.
