With over 18 years of experience, Lynnelle Berkenpas is a Senior Project Manager and Engineer recognized for her strategic leadership and commitment to practical designs. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of municipal projects and private development projects, including design engineering, construction engineering, and hydraulic modeling. She excels in managing master planning projects, transportation projects, stormwater management and design, and utility reliability and feasibility studies.
Lynnelle’s background in transportation system design and wastewater collection network analyses is complemented by her extensive work in water supply and distribution design, hydraulic analyses, and permitting. She is known for delivering innovative, resilient solutions that emphasize environmental responsibility and community needs. Lynnelle holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Calvin College and an MBA from Western Michigan University. She is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. With a wide background in design and construction engineering, she brings both passion and expertise to the Public Engineering team.
Outside her professional role, she enjoys family time with her husband and sons and can regularly be found at her son’s athletic events.
