Summary

Spalding DeDecker is an employee-owned surveying and civil engineering firm of around 80 employees. We are looking for a Vice President / Senior Vice President with expertise in any of the following sectors: Municipal, Transportation, Private Development, and / or Construction Engineering.

Typical Duties

Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Win new clients through technical expertise and a strong business development approach
  • Promote and cultivate client relationships
  • As a member of our executive leadership team, make strategic recommendations for the direction of his/her group and the organization
  • Provide guidance on high-level project issues
  • Lead and mentor staff
  • Lead proposals, marketing, and business development for group
  • Manage projects to a profit

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a current PE license, and more than 15 years of related experience
  • Strong technical skills
  • Excellent technical writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well with others
  • Must possess strong customer service skills
