Oakland County Benchmarks

Spalding DeDecker developed a web/mobile based application, which helps survey crew members locate the nearest NGS benchmarks, along with their attributes. The application replaced traditional hard copy maps to locate benchmarks while in the field and also helped the crew make educated decisions in choosing the strongest and nearest data based upon the application locational capability. SD also incorporated the section boundaries with-in the benchmark application for the crew to identify the exact boundary of the data point.
