The Central Library is a multi-story building, with a single level low slope roof system and is approximately 11,000 SqFt in overall size. The Ewald Library is a single-story building with both a steep and low slope roof structure, which is approximately 18,000 SqFt in the combined area.
Roof Evaluation, Design, and Bid Meetings:
- Roof Assessment to determine the existing condition of the 3 roof areas. The Assessment includes roofing, flashings, details, penetration, and roof condition analysis.
- A core cut will be taken as necessary, to determine the existing roof assembly; including the decking, vapor retarder/barriers, insulation (type, thickness, approx. R value, etc), membrane (type, thickness, approx. age), flashings, and exterior wall conditions.
- Areal drone photography
- Prepare a summary report with the approximate size and height of the building, type of decking, com[position of the core samples, type of thickness of insulation, membrane and exterior building envelope conditions at the roof line.
- Prepare a report for each building detailing our findings, along with recommendations and costs for modifications
