The contractor will be milling asphalt and removing concrete for replacement on Thursday 6/27 and Friday 6/28. Please do not park on the streets from 7 am to 8 pm while construction is being performed. You will not have access to your driveway impeded during this phase, however please use caution as you navigate around construction equipment and personnel. The milling and base repair may take up to a week to complete. . The contractor and onsite inspector will work with residents to accommodate any needs in getting residents in and out of the neighborhood as efficiently as possible.Stratford Knolls
Pro-Line Asphalt will be paving on Friday, June 28th and Saturday June 29th. The plan is to put down a tack coat just prior to paving; this will start at 7:00 a.m. The contractor will place the tack coat and pave half the road at a time so motorists can use the other half to get by. After the pavement is placed we will need to keep traffic off the road for 1 to 2 hours. The longer we can keep vehicles from driving on the fresh asphalt, the better your road will look and feel as you drive on it later. The contractor anticipates this work will take 2 to 3 days to complete. It’s difficult to predict when the crew will be in front of your home, so please be patient while the paving operation progresses through your neighborhood. The contractor and onsite inspector will work with residents to accommodate any needs in getting residents in and out of the neighborhood as efficiently as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Clark French at 248-844-6286. Vehicles cannot be parked in the streets between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 pm.June 21st - Curb and Gutter Repair

The sidewalks have been marked for removal. The contractor will be working Monday to prep the curb & gutters and begin the removal of sidewalk panels. No more concrete removals are planned in front of driveways, so if you have access to your driveway now you will continue to have access for the remainder of the project. Please be careful over the next couple of weeks as several portions of sidewalk will be missing while construction proceeds.Stratford Knolls

Hitchman's Haven Paving Update
Pro-Line will be starting on Oklahoma Court and then on to Oklahoma Ave. The plan is to put down a sticky substance called a tack coat just prior to paving. This will start at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 5th. Once the tack coat is placed we need to keep traffic off the road (you don’t want this material on your car). We will keep traffic off the road for 1 to 2 hours after the pavement is placed. The longer we can keep vehicles from driving on the fresh asphalt, the better your road will look and feel as you drive on it later. The contractor anticipates this work will take about 3 days to complete. It’s difficult to predict when the crew will be in front of your home, so please be patient while the paving operation progresses through your neighborhood. Hitchman's Haven
The contractor has wrapped up the milling and base repairs in Hitchman’s Haven subdivision and will begin paving on Wednesday 6/5, weather permitting (80% chance of rain in the forecast at the moment). In terms of traffic impact the biggest obstacle is when the fresh pavement is placed we need to keep vehicles off of it for about an hour while the asphalt cools (warmer weather may extend this cooling time). The longer we can keep traffic off the top lift, the better the finished pavement will look. The contractor and onsite inspector will work with residents to accommodate any needs in getting residents in and out of the neighborhood as efficiently as possible.VEHICLES CANNOT BE PARKED IN THE STREETS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 AM AND 8:00 PM.
CAUTION: THE ASPHALT MIX IS VERY HOT, THEREFORE PLEASE KEEP CHILDREN AND PETS AWAY FROM THE WORK ZONE.
This work will conclude the paving portion of the project in your neighborhood. The contractor will be returning to do restoration work and removal of signs and other site items. I thank you again for your cooperation and understanding during this project. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Clark French at 248-844-6286.Rookery Woods Subdivision
Pro-Line Asphalt’s crew will begin removing concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk ramps on Wednesday 6/5 weather permitting. Traffic will not be permitted on the concrete while it is curing (approximately 5 days).Hitchman's Haven Subdivision

As promised, the milling operation got underway on Wednesday, which was evident by the construction machines and all the gravel haulers. Beginning Friday, a second crew will be on site to make base repairs. Base repairs entail removing loose material from the underlying cracks and filling it with new material. During this process it is best if we can keep traffic off the pavement after the loose material is removed.
You will see barricades placed in various locations on streets that have been milled. However, if you need to get in or out of your driveway during these temporary closures the contractor and/or the site inspector will work to help guide you slowly through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have full access at all times.
The contractor will not be working over the holiday weekend, but will be back on Tuesday, weather permitting, to continue milling and base repairs.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns please call Clark French at 248-844-6286.Questions? We have answers
